I think this might be the sponsorship equivalent of an artist "selling out." I'm fairly sure his multi-million dollar soccer contract doesn't leave him wanting financially. Maybe David Beckham really believes in Sharpies as a product...who knows? At least the Emporio Armani adds make sense, I'd post one but they are slightly pornographic.
